You can get a better deal on an ssd. For double the price you can get 4x more space. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/a-data-internal-hard-drive-asp600s3256gmc

My System Specs: (Short list) i7 4770k, GTX 780, many SSD's, a 2 TB HDD(deceased :( ), Corsair 650D. Full list: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/kchriz6097/saved/8dh7YJ

Upgrade Plan: Acquire some Black Noctuas then add 16 or 32GB of 2133MHz memory

wait a sec!

Anyone with an asus x79 mobo try the SSD caching sata-feature?

that would be a potential use for a 60GB...

problem is I know no one who has tried it out. It's on one of the crappy SATA6 non-intel ports.

Still no reason why one wouldn't want to do this with a 120gb SSD for $15-25 more.
