I have used this CPU and 3 different web-browsing Facebook checking PC's I've built for people. It's usually about $50. It's $38 dollars on NCIX.

You need to remove the space at the end of the url otherwise you get taken to the homepage of ncixus.

This is why you should not get an FX CPU for ANY scenario other than rendering on a budget http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/286142-fx-8350-r9-290-psu-requirements/?p=3892901 http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/266481-an-issue-with-people-bashing-the-fx-cpus/?p=3620861

I recall seeing an A6 for $30 a week back.

Those are some darn good value CPUs. I've seen people play tons of games on them for a good price. The integrated GPU is on par with a Radeon HD 4850 at stock clocks.

Eric S. Raymond used an E6600 from 2005 until 12/30/14 or open source software creation. Raw data computations in excess of 18GB each. Core 2 Duos still have tons of life left, my friend.
