Help Me Out With A Platform Issue

So, I was thinking about buying a iPhone 6, don't hate, I just wanted to try it out. But my question is: what is the difference between iTunes and app store, on the iPhone and windows platforms?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

To love is to risk not being loved in return. To hope is to risk pain. To try is to risk failure, but risk must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.

uuuh, the App Store isn´t on Windows, but iTunes is.

iTunes is used to synchronize music and all that stuff to your phone.

I know app store is only on iPhone/mac. I also heard you have may have to pay twice for apps on ipads and iphones?

It's a bit difficult. There are 3 cases:

1) Some apps are designed for ipad AND iphone/ipod touch. So you can use them on ipad and iphone at same time, if you are logged in with the same apple ID on both devices.

2) Other apps (for example "tweet bot") have a specific iphone and a  specific ipad version. So you have to buy both versions to use the app on both devices. ( The ipad app appears in the app-store often as "HD" Version.)

3) A lot of apps are only available for iphone OR ipad. - If it is only available for iphone you can use the scaled-up iphone app on your ipad.

Yeah but nobody does that anymore.

Not necessarily. Some have HD versions, others work on both platforms.
