The Samsung SSD is a bit faster, but both drives are good.

Samsung is overpriced. Just get sandisk, you wont notice a difference. They also use TLC flash which has some issues

Apparently that one read issue is gonna be fixed soon with a firmware update. I might actually update my two EVOs if it proves to be worth it, since I haven't done anything with the firmware on them.

 

But the Samsung ones are gonna be a little faster and prettier (at least I think they're prettier).

a cupple of things are different, the driver of the SSDs, the up/down speeds, the price, stability, software, and a few things that doesn't matter. As for which one's better, I am not one to tell you, just look up some benchmarks and possibly reviews.
