Nexus 5

In light of Nexus 6/X Rumors, Do you think the Nexus 5 go on sale? (Not from Carriers or Retailers but directly from Google Play.)

How much do you think Google will take off?

 I personally hope Google does put it on sale for <$249.

And when the Nexus 6 comes out it could take the price of the Nexus 5 right now...

Or the N6 could just be around the price range of the OPO...

I just hope that the N6 doesn't enter phablet size... 4.7" to 5.0" is a good fit for most people... 5.5" or bigger you might as well throw phone components in a Nexus 7 or similar...

Moto x went on sale awhile ago and back around this time last year nexus 4 got a pricedrop/sale type thing.

Depends on the company... to get rid of stock they'll probably sell them for cheaper

yeah but they most just price drop, look samsing is still selling the s4 and apple is making all the way back to the 4s.

 

but at the lower range where there is not as much profit like with the nexus 5 there are not many sales

Yeah it might be worth the wait to see what happens.

I hope they don't release a phablet, 5.9" is way too large for a phone. There's no real way to cram that into a reasonable size body unless you're Sharp, and we know they're not going with them as an OEM.

Actually they blew out the Nexus 4 IIRC for $249 when the Nexus 5 came out, to get rid of stock.

They don't carry over older model devices, so it made no sense to have them sitting around.

i heard they already stopped production of Nexus 5 so even if there is a price drop, don't expect it to last too long i think.
