Is this CPU Good for Gaming?

So I bought a PC for a good price second hand, it has an SSD and a R9 270 etc, but the downside was the CPU was very bad, The CPU it came with was a Intel Celeron CPU G1820. I'm definitely going to upgrade to a i3 4130 soon because I didn't even know the CPU existed, but while I still have the CPU will it do alright in gaming?

No, that CPU is not good for gaming, I would never recommend buying it. It's not good for anything other than very light web-browsing. Even than i'd grab an APU.

meh... should be more or less OK, if you're willing to maybe turn down the settings a little. How long do you intend to use it and what games do you intend to play?

I have an i3 2100 and 7770 that i play games on. AC3, skyrim, hitman, dungeon defenders. seeing as most games require more GPU then CPU power.
