r9 295x2 question.

Go to solution Solved by Guest,

Like the others already said, install MSI afterburner (if you don't already have it) and look at the GPU utilization. You should have a GPU1 and a GPU2, and both should be utilized (hopefully to 90+%) when you play games or do something GPU intensive.

How do i know if my r9 295x2 is using both of its cores?

Did you check afterburner?

Just got my new gaming rig up and running and just wanted to post a quick question here that some of you educated folks might have an answer too :)

How do i know if my r9 295x2 is using both of its cores?

Welcome to the forum! Please remember to follow your topics so you're notified when someone answers ;) in my sig you can find links to the CoC and the forum's F.A.Q. check them out!

Afterburner should tell you, alternatively you can run a banchmark and compare it to an online benchmar and see if you get similar results.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

sudo chmod -R 000 /*

What's wrong with welcoming people and asking them to follow basic forum rules they might not know about? I ask them, it's up to them to do it or not, it's not like I yell at them or "order" them to do what I tell them. Most people who join don't even know about the follow function, I know I didn't. Eventually I figured out by myself, but I wish somebody told me sooner.

I agree. That is why I have the CoC in my signature. Thanks for what you are doing, people notice.

Would it work to run Valley benchmark and see if gpu 2 is utilized?
