So m8s, I have a windows 7 Home premium and I lost the disc, funny. Anyways I was planning to reinstall windows today to a bigger SSD and poof! Can't find the disc. I have the key and crap, was just wondering if there's another way to install it. I heard you could do it off of a USB? But wouldn't I need the ISO?

(I do have a USB stick at the ready)

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

You can get windows 7 ISO off the microsoft website. then use a program (forget the name) to make it a bootable drive.

man you are in a sticky situation

you have a couple options

you can go to one of your friends and see if they have a disc for that any windows 7

than there is a little mod you can do to convert any windows 7 version to the one you need, it requires basically removing the CLG file

(link bellow)

another option is basically calling the MFG (manufacture DELL, HP, ACER, etc) and have them mail you a copy should be like 20$ or so

fyi you cannot install windows on usb without ISO image

hope this helps

CLG link

all you have to do is once u have a dvd, you can basically install it on usb and delete the file that stated in link

The SSD is too small.
