Hi!

So, I'v been working/playing games on a notebook for about 2 years, and it no longer fits my needs. So, I've been planning my build and first, I thought that 800$ would be enough, but I have realized that it's impossible for what I want, so, please, help me.

1.Budget & Location

I live in Portugal (so the pieces need to be from Amazon) and I can't spend more than 1500$ on the build.

2.Aim

I'm going to be using the PC for school, gaming, 3D rendering, (maybe video rendering) and coding.

3.Monitors

I need one 24" 60Hz monitor on the build and I will be adding one or two later. I'd like to get the BenQ Gaming Monitor RL2455HM  but I'm open to opinions.

4. Peripherals

I need one mouse (would prefer the Razer Death Adder 2013, but open to suggestions) and a Mechanical MX Blue keyboard.

5. Why am I upgrading?

Already said, my current notebook doesn't do the job.

Extra stuff

  • Case has to be the Corsair 300R
  • Don't care if it is Intel or AMD
  • Would prefer a MSI or ASUS ROG motherboard
  • At least 8GB of RAM
  • If the piece you think is better is not available on Amazon, don't worry, I'll buy it from a local store (but because of EURO-USD things, I would prefer getting all the pieces on Amazon
  • Would prefer water cooling, but don't really care
  • WILL BE OVERCLOCKING

Thanks for helping!

dude what

If you perfer water cooling, the 300R is a terrible idea. It has serious mounting issues for rads

Is it $1500 USD?

I can give you PCPartPicker prices for Spain. I hope they'll be similar.

Also, any particular reason for the 300R?

I'll make a 1200 Euro build on PCPP spain, which will be approx. equal to $1500 USD. @fababaa

edit: the part choices are terrible on PCPP spain. A $1500 USD build will be better.

Also, do you need an OS in that price?

Aesthetics of rigs matter

Yes, it is 1500$USD.

About the 300R, it's because it looks really nice and clean, has a side window and because it's quite cheap, but I would not mind changing it for a 450D or 750D.

Also, I was planning on getting the OS on https://www.g2a.com/, but if there's money left, you can include the Windows 8.1 Pro

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Thanks a lot to both answers, I really like them (and thanks for being so fast!).

I'll mix those two and try to get another 1TB HDD.

Once again, thanks!
