So after a long time, I have manager to create the $1000 gaming PC that I want to build fairly soon. I believe that this has everything that I want (listed below) and that it is below the $1000 limit. However, I want other people to check it over to ensure that everything is in order, and that I cannot get it any better. Thanks!

I am looking for:

- HDD and SSD

- Fairly powerful GPU

- Option to crossfire (or SLI) in the future

- Up to 16 GB of RAM (8 GB min)

- Large monitor

- Ability to play games at medium to high settings at 60 fps (or something like that)

- I also need a keyboard because I am switching over from a laptop (thus the screen too)

The link to the pcpartpicker list is here. Thanks for your help in ensuring this is a good choice of parts!

Yeh, I am not yet sure where it will be, so I am not sure if I will be able to use it. If I can I will though.

I would have a look at your build but PCPartPicker is being picky about it's uptime -.-

This will perform better @SupremeSteak1 also you can pick up an SSD later it's not the most crucial part to a PC and is a good purchase but this would perform much better than the build you gave us :)

This seems like a good build, but the one question I have is, what makes the intel you choose, better than the amd I choose? They both have the same number of cores, but the amd has a faster clock speed and is cheaper. I just don't understand it.
