GTX 970 usage variance

Go to solution Solved by Raxzer,

Reinstalled your drivers?

Seen if it's not temperature-related?

Battlefield 4 is really weird, if you've tried to search for your problem, you'd see that this is a question that has yet to be answered.

Hello good folk of the LTT community!

So I got my GTX 970 and RM750 and immediately installed them. Everything worked perfectly and the drivers (after some hassle with AMD) were installed properly. However when I got into BF4 my GPU usage varies a lot and does not exceed 70% (I'm also not getting the 80-90fps average on the ultra preset that everybody else is getting).

I've already increased the power limit but I don't really know what else could be the issue. My CPU is on 75-80% during BF4 so it cannot really be a bottleneck.

Yeah I just found it. Downloaded Valley benchmark to see what would happen. Instant 98-100% usage. Only 59C after 30 minutes on the extreme HD preset which is so damn fine. I'm upping the core clock :D
