Hi a friend of mine is looking forward to upgrade his PC.

His PC now:

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 @ 2,33GHz

RAM: DDR2 Corsair CM2X1024

Mainboard: Micro-Star MS-7360

Graphic Card: GeForce 8600 GT

Storage: 1TB Seagate, 2TB Seagate, 320 GB Samsung

PSU: Coller Master RS-430-PCAP

How you can see the only thing that still usefull are the 2 Seagate HDD´s... the 320GB HDD is about to die.

The new PC should be as cheap as possible but should still handle Adobe CS4 especial Photoshop because the owner works a lot with Photos.

I´m not a 100% sure witch way to go... Intel or AMD for the CPU? Maybe a APU? he dont play any games ore something like that.

What do you think about this:

AMD Athlon X4 860K - 78€

Asus A88XM-Plus - 56€

8GB Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR3-1600 - 62€

128GB SanDisk Ultra Plus - 49€

1024MB Inno3D GeForce GTX 750 - 90€

430 Watt Corsair CX Series Non-Modular 80+ Bronze - 38€

or is this much better:

My list:

Intel Core i3-4160 faster cores and more powerful cores (95 euros)

ASRock H97 Anniversary (70 euros)

8gb crucial ballistix ddr3 1600 (62 euros)

cheapest 120GB SSD

cheapest gtx 750, the cuda cores will be a huge help (~ 90 euros)

430W CX corsair (35 euros or so)

Might be a little more expensive but this will be more than 200% for cs4 that what you suggested

Spoiler

Samung Tab S 8.4
