Is there not different pin counts or anything like that?

I'm not sure about pin counts but DDR, DDR2, and DDR3 are physically incompatible... Meaning, you can't put DDR3 in a DDR system etc. since the module won't fit into the slot in the first place...

Last I found some DDR (not DDR2 or DDR3) was from a dealer in Singapore and I'm not even sure if they still sell stuff this old...

Edit: Found something on amazon... Keywords used are DDR 333...

That's 256MB of DDR(1) 333MHz RAM.

Pin counts are the same I think. The notch in the middle is just in a different place each time.
