I am 13 but I will get help from my dads friend that builds like 3 computers a month. Not gaming they are for video surveillance but he said he can help.

1. Budget & Location

I live in Canada, Alberta my budget is $1500 to $1600 CAD but a bit over is fine. I can go to Montana because things in the U.S.A should be cheaper and its close to where I live.

2. Aim
I need my computer to play Minecraft, Battlefield 4, Dota 2 and livestream, record and video edit while playing.

3. Monitors
I have a old monitor in my basement but if I need a new one I will buy a new one. If it helps I need the games to play at ultra or max settings

4. Peripherals

My dads friend has windows 7 ultimate on his USB stick.

5. Why are you upgrading?

I have been playing games on my HP laptop that shuts off every couple of minutes and it gets really annoying so that's why I need a new gaming PC

Hello Lazlex,

In all your build looks nice. However, if I were you I'd take a look at some online benchmarking for the video card (like gpuboss.com for instance). You could see either the 970 or 980 compared to the 770 there and decide for yourself. Kudos for choosing a drive the WD Black line. Given that you have a 120 GB SSD, if it's enough to cary your OS and the games you play the most, you could consider a WD Blue also. The Blue drives are very reliable, but still – with the performance of its drives, the Black line is designed especially for gaming, and the HDDs come with a 5-years limited warranty. Can you be more speciffic about that old monitor in the basement. Do you want to include a new monitor in the budget?

Well, I hope you'll have lots of good time with your new rig and I'll be glad to help you if you have any questions.
