WOOT WOOT no more having to depend on Intel Integrated Graphics!!!

And, after eight hours of struggle and heartache, here it is inside Fluffy:

Had to disconnect the side-pannel usb because of one of the pipes :P

Also had to move the radiator fans to the outside of the case - note to self: make sure my next gpu is not a ****ing three-slotter.

The "noicest" bit is it only cost 147€ including shipping (this is only a second-hand, placeholder shiny) :)

 

Not sure about benchmarks and stuff... for the moment I can't get MSI Afterburner to read the voltage, and Kombustor only detects the Intel graphics... :P

Pretty cheap for something that only a couple of years ago cost what a 980 costs now...

 

Yeah, I didn't even look at the cd that came with it - I got the "driver for gta v" straight from the nvidia website :)

Secondhand, via ebay, 325-ish euros, has a warranty that still lasts until 2017 :)

 

Now to wait for it to get from California hither :P

I'm going to sell it. Turns out it works fine as long as there are no displays connected to the motherboard :)
