HyperX Cloud headset problem

hello,

 

I saw Linus' video about the HyperX Cloud headset. so....I bought it. I received it today. when I plugged it into my computer I hopped into a skype call with my friends and started watching youtube videos. they told me that they could hear the videos faintly, and over time the audio would get louder until they can hear the video as if they are watching it. does anyone know what is going on? or how to fix it?

Your mic is probably picking up the audio? Try moving it slightly away.

Use the push-to-talk function. Skype should have it unless they removed it.

if I move it away, they say that its hard to hear me. its the same distance from my mouth as my turtle beach px3 headset mic that I own. I don't think its too close.

I have the same problem, I think its a problem with the headset. Recently got mine and any audio goes threw them I think.
