This is my first time independantly building a pc. but right i'm kind paranoid that I might screw something up or i've gone wrong with parts and compatibility of the them. So i decided to try and get some help from a forum. with my system i wanted to stay under 700$ while still getting decent specs and having room for upgrades like Xfire (this is why I chose a mobo that could run the second pci-e slot in 8x and not just 4x like other inexpensive boards)  or 2 more sticks of ram. If someone could give some help with what i might want to add to my build or replace please post something down below. This machine is going mainly for gaming as well as just random stuff for school. Also if anybody sees any compatibility issues with anything on this please post it. (I know partpicker is squawking about things like it might need a bios update but mobo only has one bios and it supports vishera cpu's. Aswell it saying some of the hard drive cages will be blocked which isn't an issue since I only have one hard drive)

Thank you in advance

Hi.

Can we get a little bit more of information? Like where are you located, where are you buying, if you need an OS, etc.

Please read this: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/3061-build-plan-thread-recommendations-please-read-before-posting/ and elaborate your post a bit more, it's a great guide to make a nice thread about making a new build, specially helpful if you are new to this.

Also, you posted on the general section, this must go to the Builds and Planning section (located on the workbench).

I'd go with a G3258 instead since it can be upgraded to a Broadwell i5/i7 down the road.

this is a great build for the money. And because it is a z97 board, that means you can easily upgrade the processor in the future to be more powerful. Pretty much exactly what i would do if i where to build a cheaper gaming rig.

Case: Phanteks Evolve X with ITX mount  cpu: Ryzen 3900X 4.35ghz all cores Motherboard: MSI X570 Unify gpu: EVGA 1070 SC  psu: Phanteks revolt x 1200W Memory: 64GB Kingston Hyper X oc'd to 3600mhz ssd: Sabrent Rocket 4.0 1TB ITX System CPU: 4670k  Motherboard: some cheap asus h87 Ram: 16gb corsair vengeance 1600mhz
