So my computer has become unbearably slow with Malaware... I can't even click without getting a popup add... And most website's get compleatly filled with add's so their unviewable. I have not installed anything in weeks (Other than steam games), and more are popping up every few days. Any tips on how to fix it?

Ohh, and I have to disable proxies to download anything. Anything at all.

What websites are you visiting?

Also, Scan with this: https://www.malwarebytes.org/

That's the thing... I haven't been on too many sketchy websites... The only thing I can think of is the random links popping up (Internet explorer opening randomly). And viruses through their.

Thats Not a virus

Yes I know but many people think that they have a virus when it is just bloatware [toolbars popup ads ect],but they may just have a virus or they may have both. Also I think it is important to inform people about these types of things just in case they don't know. B)

Something I would recommend doing is going to the "uninstall a program" menu in Control Panel, and uninstall anything you don't recognize. If you don't know what it is, you don't need it on your computer (unless its a driver for something).

I had the same thing a while ago, where anytime I opened a new page, or did something on my PC an ad popped up. Ended up being some weather bullshit I somehow managed to download. (tried to download p95 from a sketchy website, worst idea ever)

I try... I can uninstall 2 programs, the others say "Currently in use", or start uninstalling and never finish. Making it so I'm forced to stop uninstalling programs.

Trying malaware bits now.

if its saying currently in use, end the process in task manager or do a clean boot by disabling everything except default drivers in MSConfig. and if it wont start, wait for the current uninstall to be done, you may only be able to uninstall 1 at a time.

If you are getting a lot of popups in your web browser, I'd start by resetting your browser of choice. This will get rid of any extra extensions that may have found their way on to your computer. Next I recommend downloading CCleaner, run both of those scans / fixes for temp files and registry fix. After that is done, reboot into safe mode with networking.

The process of programs you should run are as follows:

1. RKill.exe (Do a google search)

2. TDSKiller (Do a google search)

3. Reboot

If you still notice issues, reboot into safe mode w/ networking again

1. RKill.exe

2. TDSKiller

3. MBAR (Malwarebytes Anti Root-Kit)

4. Reboot

Let me know if you still have issues after this!

Cheers.
