Fixed and Embarassing

Drop the SSD for now if you need it to be cheaper and buy an 840 (or maybe not due to recent bugs) later on.

There have been many similar topics posted in the past, here's my general response:

There are many things you can do to save money on a build, but that will mean cutting corners... and only you can choose what to cut corners on depending on your priorities.

Here are a list of things that you can cut corners on that don't affect performance in any meaningful way...

- Case.
- Power supply,     you can eaisly find cheaper PSUs if you are willing to compromise on things like efficiency ratings, modular cables, ect.

- Motherboard,     it doesn't affect performance that much, you can get a cheaper motherboard if you are willing to compromise on some features...

- GPU brand,        you might be able to find a cheaper version of the same the GPU from a different brand, with a different cooler design.

- Memory,             you might be able to find similar spec memory at a cheaper price if you dig around, or you could get lower spec memory and overclock it.
