This is my first build. I'm looking to play games at medium-high settings at 1080p 50+ fps. It's also going to be used for light video editing, but considering my ASUS Transformer Book T100TA can do what I need, I doubt that will be an issue. Also, I am in the UK, so technology is much more expensive here than in some other countries.

I would advise a different CPU coolerand maybe go for a GTX 970

Also, WD blacks don't have any appreciable gain over regularhard drives

And, your build NEEDS an SSD

Furthermore, what is the case?

Budget?

So many things...

Aesthetics of rigs matter

I wouldn't buy a 750w PSU that's 80+bronze, get +gold minimum (also go with Seasonic, they have the best ratings and a lot of power supplies out there are seasonics in a different case with a different logo). I'd also get a 970 instead of a 770 gpu if you can. also get an SSD. SOOOOOOOOO much better than plain old HDD

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

What case?

The psu is larger than needed. A good 650W until would be better.

Have you considered including an ssd?

I wouldn't bother with additional fans initially. They can always be added later.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Hi Zlambe!

It's a good build you have here.

I'm happy to see you've chosen the WD Black hard drive for your storage device! It's a maximum performance hard drive designed for gaming and more demanding applications, so it's basically perfect for this use.

Also, I'd recommend you do upgrade your GPU, you've already had a suggestion about the GTX 970. The PSU is good, it's always better to have a bit more than needed, but still, @brob has right, may be a 650W would be better; it's more but not too much.

Cheers! :)
