So I have issues with my connection with a few games while many people in the house are connected, LoL is the worst. They're usually spikes in lag or DC's completely. Sometimes even when no one at all is using the net, any way I can find out if my router or even my modem is the problem?

I have a "Belkin n450 db wireless n router" http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833314074

My ISP is fine with Charter I'll leave a speedtest to show my up and down load speeds

The router could be a little underpowered with a price of only 50 bucks. Maybe you should borrow a friends router that is of higher quality and see if you have the same problems. Or go buy one from the store and if it helps keep it, if not time for a refund. Also it is unlikely but your computer could be the issue here. Get another one in the house to play LOL and see if it suffers the same issues as your own.

If it is your computer that is causing the problem get a new network card. I've basically covered all possibilities here besides your isp literally playing with you.

Yup, it's been like this for as long as I've lived here

Hmm, Considering you said it happens when a bunch of people are connected I'd guess the router just can't handle all the requests that are being sent to it from all the devices on it.

No it's everyone that suffers from this no matter which computer you use.  So yeah I was thinking of just getting a new router I'm stuck picking which would be best for me though, 4 computers wired each of them game or stream video on a regular basis, and up to 4 wireless devices only need wireless to be decent. Wired is what really matters

I have a budget of <$140 I have a few in mind so any suggestions?

You on wifi? Sometimes cheaper routers don't have enough transmission power to overpower interference on the same channels, so a stable connection will be flaky, try a wired connection to see if that helps.

And yes thank you for mentioning I forgot to point out that I am on wired connection

I'd go with the asus one, but all of the routers you have here are going to work fine. I just prefer asus to the other companies.
