Wow this looks really good. Been reading about g300 logitech. Is it better than the recommended?

I'm using a G300 right now, been using it for about a year or so. It's really good. But remember you're sacrificing the thumb buttons for buttons on top of the mouse. The G300 is more suited to multipurpose while the Taipan is more FPS-ish. Also, the Taipan has up to 8200DPI while the G300 only has up to 2500DPI. I'll leave you to decide which one is better.

 

Also take a look at the G400s.
