Headphone upgrade

Hello all!

 

I have been thinking about upgrading my Logitech G930s to Beyerdynamic Custom One Pros, I would get them with that optional mic accessory.

I already know that mic sounds way better, but do any of you have experience with these headphones? Would Custom Ones sound noticeably better than G930?

Consider the V-Moda BoomPro as an alternative (possibly cheaper) to the COP mic.

I prefer the Sony MDR 1R with the vmoda boompro. I think it should fit but not entirely sure.

My personal rig - 4790k 4.8Ghz, Asus Z97 Pro (wi-fi ac), Corsair Dominator Plat 4x8GB, SLI GTX 1080 TI FE, Samsung 850 Evo 1TB, Crucial MX100 512GB, EVGA G3 1000W, and cooled by a hardline liquid cooling loop.
