System upgrade

Hello Everyone 

                             

                              I have planned to upgrade my vintage system , so i need your suggestions!!!!

 

My current system specs:

 

                                          CPU: Intel Pentium D 820( Antique one )

                                          MB:   Asus P5GZ-MX

                                         RAM: 2x1GB DDR2

                                         GPU: On board.

                                         HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1 TB 

                                        SMPS: Corsair  VS450(450W)

           As you can see, i'm using vintage system  , So i have planned to upgrade Motherboard , CPU & of course RAM. My budget is ₹15000(~$250 or max $300), As i'm tight in budget., i have made choice of  i3-4130 . Its single core performance is very good compared to fx6300. And also i3 got very less TDP of 54W compared to 95W of fx6300. Even i thought of new A10-7800, unfortunately i haven't found in local market yet(i live in india).

For motherboard i've selected B85 chipset (MSI B85M-G43 ,Gigabyte GA-B85-D3H or Biostar HiFi B85S3+).

I am decent gamer (Burn out, GTA4 blah blah.. ), and i will watch hd videos..

 

 Is this good choice?? and plz do suggest me a good entry level GPU ,. if it's fits into my budget.

i3 4130 is a good choice. How much is a R7 260x in your area? Or maybe drop to a 250X to keep in budget.

                 r7 260x cost aprx $165(₹10000) and 250x aprx $107(₹6500).

Hmm. You could grab the i3 4130 now with the board and the RAM then upgrade to a dedicated GPU later

 

Either way you're in for 1 hell of an upgrade

Ha ha ha ha yeah.. My bad . I have to drop gpu for now!!! But i3 4130 is good to go rite???  or any amd based similar cpu or apu will i get??

4130 is good to go, I tend not to recommend AMD CPUs these days because Intels performance advantage is too big

Alright . And what about motherboard ?? Is Biostar HiFi B85S3+ good choice ?? I've chosen it coz,  it  got better audio amplifier .

Just asked coz what i've seen is most of them are using Asus, Gigabyte, MSI ., Mobos.
