pc still locking up..about give up......

so i installed new driver 344.11 i was downloading a file it was 87 percent i go move mouse i notice pc was lock up couldnt hit any key  couldnt even open task this was happen on driver 340.52  my pc temps are at cpu temp is at 25 c and mb temp is at 24 c ive put so much money so far into this pc i even try firefox and lock up dl same file for add on all i had as a add on was pop blocker i turn off hardware in options ive try everything for software i have asus suite 2 install not sure what else to try i pust in alot of new parts what can cuase the locking up of the whole pc ????any help would be great or ill just have to sell this custom pc

Remove gpu, use something to completely uninstall the old drivers, start from scratch?

Ive try that this a new gpu card I used the nvidea unstaller in safemode

Out of interest how are you running a 220watt fx 9590 on a motherboard that only supports up to 140 watt cpus?

Oh right. My initial google search failed me it seems. I changed to intel on my latest build back in 2012 from an old AMD x3 720be so its been a while!  :blink:

Still no luck cant even be 9n web browser for more then a hour before its locks the whole pc im sure its driver

just a thought but maybe download the driver installer on a laptop or another pc. then transfer it to your current system with a usb. also use display driver uninstaller. its never failed me. i would post a link to the download page but im not sure if thats ok on the forums.

Thx I try the new driver and it still locks up why im on the web im try a older driver
