Hey guys, I'm getting the 980's whenever EK decides to ship waterblocks to the states. Just want to double check my setup and make sure I have everything.

So i'll just be getting stock reference 980's from EVGA

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487068&cm_re=GTX_980-_-14-487-068-_-Product

These water blocks -

As well as their back plates whenever EK decides to ship those as well

But I'm wondering what I would need for the paralleled block?

I'll be using this motherboard -

I want them spread out enough so I can use the EVGA SLI Bridge

http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-Bridge-2-Way-Graphics-100-2W-0021-LR/dp/B00F93S5DM

So would something like this work?

Thanks guys

If you use the first and third PCIe slot you can use that sli bridge. '

That waterblock bridge will not work. This one will.

Yes the parallel bridge with work. But I would get the 2 way one for 2 cards. Jayztwocents released a video about SLI watercooling and parallel configs yesterday if you want some more info.

On a side note, hoping to get one of your Dac/Amps soon!

What resolution do you plan to use this setup with? If its just 1080p its WAY overkill.

Right now I'm using the 1920x1200 ultrasharp but I'm getting ready for the curved 34'' 1440p to come out. I believe those ones can overclock? If not I'll get a normal 1440p monitor and overclock it.

Is there a smaller SLI bridge from EVGA? I would prefer them as close together because I have to run the output of the blocks up towards a radiator.

The only sli bridge on evga's site that will work without a slot between the cards is this.

You might just put a slot between them. It won't make much of a difference in tubing routing.
