I have a Asus RT-AC66R and my home ISP is Time Warner. The box they gave us has about 2 feet of range, and  live in a 3 story townhouse. I got the Asus router hoping it would extent the range, but now I have the TWC network, Asus, and Asus_5g. How do I make it pump out the TWC network, and close the other two?

Thanks!

I could be very wrong

you have to have the asus router plugged into the time warner one using ethernet

And if you want, (i personally didnt) set it to range extender, or repeater mode, depending on your setup

Hope this helps

Oh, and you're gonna have to live with the other networks, we still have the xfinity ones

My personal suggestion would be to disable the network from the TWC modem, and just use the network provided by the ASUS router.

Note, the ASUS_5G is the 5GHz network that the router has, so if you have devices that support it, I would suggest connecting them to this network (because you may get higher throughput).
