New build will not post

i recently built or tried to build a new tower but my new build refuses to post i got it on 2 times out of luck or frustration either one both times by repeatedly pressing the reset button when i try to turn it on i get a beep code...

 

it beeps for about 15 seconds and then it will pause and start back beeping.....i have double checked everything all my cables, re-seated ram, cpu, change ram slot...

 

i don't have another board or cpu to test the parts individually i have also check and made sure that both ram and cpu is compatible with the board.....i have also tested the ram in another tower, it posted multiple times, i also ran memtest86+ on it for 3hrs no errors.....the ram is ok......

 

I googled the beep code but the results were confusing some places said its ram other places saying power error, this is not my first build, it is however my first time encountering this problem. It is all new parts however i can't RMA due to where i live..........anybody have any idea what i should do? or at least which of either the board or cpu to replace? the build is as follows

 

f2-a55m-hd2 board version 1.3

g skill ripjaws f3-10666cl9d 8gb

amd a6 6400k

and an old laptop hdd

It might be the RAM, Try starting it with only one RAM stick and see how it goes.

tried that tested the sticks individually on memtest86 3hrs each no errors....... also my other system runs normally with those sticks

Im not sure what the problem can be, You should not have any problems.

Report the problem to the motherboard manufacturer about the problem.

lol i don't have a graphics card installed, it's an apu build, but i have tested it with one still refused to turn on...

Im not sure what the problem can be, You should not have any problems.

Report the problem to the motherboard manufacturer about the problem.

Ah I miss-read the a6 6400 thinking it was an fx CPU. If the ram is all good then it may be a mobo fault. Have you got another set of ram to try from your other system? What psu are you using?
