Painting a GPU?

Its kinda hard painting the GPU :/  But the shroud and fan is fine.

Case: Corsair Carbdie 330R Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P Asus Z97-A CPU: AMD FX-6300 i5 4690K 3.5 GHZ + 212 EVO GPU: ASUS GTX 760 DirectCUII Ram: Corsair Vengeance LP 8gb (2x4gb) HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB PSU: Corsair CX500M
Monitor: AOC Q2963pm 29'' 21:9 IPS Mouse: Mionix Naos 8200 Mousepad: Mionix Sargas 320 Headset: HyperX Cloud Keyboard: Corsair Gaming K70 RGBIKEA Headset/Headphone Holder

Unscrew and get just the shroud (So leave the heat sink) and pluck the fan off the motor. If you can't get just the shroud off, You'll have to unscrew the back plate thing holding the heat sink on the gpu and get get the shroud + heat sink off. This means prepare rubbing alcohol, TIM, and coffee filters (any non dusty material) for assembling the card back together. Get a cardboard and place the shroud and the fan on the cardboard. Then use spray paint to paint them.

I would advice not to paint the fan. As it is a blower fan. And you will not even see it from under the shroud.

why such an old GPU? if you really want to do a white/blue build both galaxy and PNY have white themed cards

 

but to answer your question: you should be able to paint the shroud, I wouldn't recommend painting the fan yourself because it could hinder it's performance and possibly cause it to fail (low possibility though)
