Then in yellow text it says, " Go to bios > Advance >boot > CSM parameters, then adjust the CSM (Compatibility Support Module) setting to enable boot device". I followed the path, but I don't know what to do one I'm there (I didn't change anything)

Before this happens, I always get a blue screen. To start Windows again, I just restart the computer. But lately it's been happening frequently (1-2 times a day). I've researched online, but I couldn't find a solution. What can I do to fix it? Thanks for your help guys

Specs: Amd 8320, Asus m5a97,r2.0 Windows 8.1, gigabyte r9 270x

I'm just guessing now, because i haven't had anything like this before. But maybe it is possible that your boot drive is defect?

make sure the hdd/sdd you have windows on is set as your first boot device ?

My hard drive is the only boot device I have

I've had this problem before too but i recently upgraded to an SSD boot drive and haven't had any problems. I would suggest checking your HDD i head it could also be the mobo

Quite frankly i'm not sure what caused it but you might want to call asus.
