So i got a customer's latop and i had to do the routine you know windows,cleaning,repairing....etc and it was working fine when i was done.I had to open it because inside it was coffee and fix the dvd writer because it was ofc full of coffee and would not open.Put the thing back together and it was working just fine i even tested the laptop with him to prove is fine. Now it calls me back and is telling me that sometimes it just stop or display a white screen.Maybe the baterry?Or a twisted cable inside?

I had that issue with my Toshiba Satellite one time, cant remember what I did, I believe I was overheating/ undervolting my CPU.

I just can't understand why, i did the windows, updates and programs it took about 3 hours to put all he wanted into it and it was working fine and now he is telling me the latop stop working or display a white screen once every 30-40 min....sound like crap

might be a loose connection to the screen. see if it works with an external monitor

or it could be static electricity, tell him to remove his battery, hold the power button for 1 minutes, connect AC power and start laptop, run like this for a few hours

There is a virus that creates a white screen as well but it will usually give a notification such as "please connect to internet" or an attempt to make you pay to unlock your PC.
