which one ever fits your needs. I would go for pocket because I dont need 2 ssd.

It all depends on your preference and your budget, they are basically the same but one is smaller

1 larger ssd is generally cheaper for the same performance since this isn't running RAID 0.

The OG System: I3-2370M @ 2.4 GHz, 750GB 5400 RPM HDD, 8GB RAM @1333Mhz, Lenovo Z580 Laptop (Ubuntu 16.04 LTS).

Why not just get a cheap usb3.0 enclousure and the cheapest 2.5" ssd, if you're after performance 2.5" drive ?

angelbird seems overly expensive (atleast here in eu)

A lot of the enclosures look really flimsy and it looks like it could break in like one drop.

Yeah, but paying X2 premium for a more fancier case ?

Doesn't seem really rational.
