$1000 Budget 1080p Gaming Build

true for phones and general consumer stuff, but computer tech doesnt really work like that.

I beg to differ.

If you were to convert 236$ to euros it would be something like 180€.

@GreaterHeights

I think this would kick ass for under $1000.

A few notes:

1) You don't need a PSU that expensive, I only put it there for the nice cables because I can't stand not-nice cables. If you're willing to sacrifice looks for performance (which I'm sure most people are), then get this unit instead: http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=15_535&products_id=27628

2) Having made that saving, you have a few options: Get an SSD (recommended, such as this one - http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=210_902_909&products_id=27565), or get a locked i5 (such as this one http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=27549&cPath=1490) and cheaper H97 motherboard (such as this one http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=28017&cPath=1491)

3) You could also forgo the HDD entirely and get a low capacity SSD (maybe a 250GB one like this http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=24742) if you're able to survive for a while until you can get a large HDD to go with your small SSD later.

4) This case doesn't have any support for an Optical Drive. If you want one of those, you'll need a different case.

Well, fuck. But then again Australia sure is expensive on components.

But, nevertheless, it's pretty much the same across every other component, if you compare USD to Euros directly, that is.

915.99 * 0,77 = 705,31

743,37 / 915,99 = 0,81

of course, it doesnt represent the normal exchange rate, but it is clearly not 1:1.
