Windows Product Key - Dell

So a Dell repair guy came into work to fix one of the staffs pcs and gave them a free windows 8 product key, they forgot about it and then later on told me that they dont want it.. now i have a product key for windows 8 from dell.. is there any issue with me using it for home use? 

Yes Yes Legalize Gay Marriage sure, but have you ever considered Weaponizing Gay?

What kind of key is it? If it's school computers then its most likely a windows enterprise key, not a regular home premium key.

i have no clue it doesnt even say what type it is just has a product key and installation instructions

It should work, I guess the place you where at doesnt have a licensing server which is odd

yea it's a small business we don't require a server handing out keys (plus its for a laptop for their home use also)

Well you can try it on a windows 8 home premium ISO, but if it doesn't work don't be too surprised...
