Just curious to know.

Do all Crossfire bridges work on all AMD Cards ?

I Saw some listings on ebay and some don't have the 7950 , 7970 , 7990 Listed in the compatability list.

Seems strange to me...

Just had to ask to be sure.

Also if anyone on the Forum here has one and would like to ship me one that would be AWESOME!!!

Thanks!

Some of the newer AMD cards don't even need a Crossfire bridge, the PCI-E 3.0 provides enough bandwidth to support it.

The 2 7950 Cards I ordered need it.

That's not the compatibility list. That is kids tagging ever card ever made so that their result is top of the list.

But on-topic, yes those ugly brown and blue bridges will work just fine. Get the black ones. No...wait... YOU WILL GET THE BLACK BRIDGE!!

I'd imagine so. My board came with black bridges. They look so good.

You only need one cable. You only use the other the fingers when running a 3-4 way xfire setup.

Okay cool!

Just wondering.

Saw some pictures where people had 2 connectors in use.

It doesn't need PCI-E 3.0 it can work on 2.0 the crossfire is done on the cards on the AMD "DMA engine" which allows the bridgeless crossfire and better more efficient scaling. That's why 2x R9 290s scale up to the level of the 780ti in SLI.
