towers vs Mini cases

Hey guys

 

I am about to build a PC, but there is one thing that hit me

I am going to move this PC in a year to a uni room where there will not be too big spaces, so it would be a reasonable to buy a mini ITX or Micro ATX in X99, case and motherboard

 

I am going to use the PCI slot to GPU so no need of many slots, no need of an optical drive as well, only 2 drives..

 

What are the pros and cons of a mini/micro board by your experience?

I had ATX cases and boards in my whole life, so I have no experience in smallness

I don't think you'll find an itx x99 mobo. Just the socket would take up like half the board.

mATX case, looks damned flexible. Sadly not out yet.
