So I've played PC games for a long time, although recently I've noticed that some games have artifacting with them which I presume is because I have a newer system that they weren't meant to be played on. But that is just guessing :L An Example of Sonic Heroes is below (The character backdrop has stretched) Some flowers get stretched but none were around. Spore is a little different with the whole world in places stretching to the Sky.

The only games that I have it happen on as far as I know at the moment are Sonic Heroes and Spore. If any of you have had artifacting on any games what games were they and what is your system?

My system is:

CPU: AMD FX-6300 @4GHz

GPU: ATI Radeon HD 7870 2GB GDDR5

RAM: 8GB DDR3 1337MHz

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

No, my GPU isn't overclocked. That's been left stock since I've not really cared about OC my GPU. It's not as bad as some games where it's a general bug and covers the screen but when you play you do notice it from time to time. I'll get an image of spore up later because it's easier to see it on that.

you are talking about stretching right not real artifacting which is when a random black or white triangles will pop up because of a bad oc

Yeah, a while back I didn't know what it was called and somebody said artifacting so I took it as that's what it was called :L Here's an image of Spore so you can see that streched.
