Forum App?

I know this place is still pretty new but I wanted to know if there was an app in the works for the forum. The mobile version is really sweet though. The layout actually looks nicer there than on my computer when a thread is full of pictures such as the Show Off Your Setup thread. So if there isn't an app that's always a pretty nice backup.

Why would you need an app? just use the mobile version of the page it works just fine.

There is no app for now. Linus doesnt have any plans for that now. However the mobile version is quite interactive and can still be used. Using on mobile still works once the actual forums are online at that time.

Yeah I really do like the mobile version but sometimes apps give a better interface to websites on phones. Right now post have pretty basic options. You can easily quote by tapping the post (although it isn't working for me atm) but on the desktop version you get so many more options. I'm getting ahead, I don't mean to sound impatient or anything, I love this forum and enjoy reading through it, it's really amazing.

Apps are almost always better, push notifications for starters!

If you want a better interface it would be up to the website designer to make it better you can pretty much do anything you can in a app on a webpage with a few limitations. But in this case a webpage would be more than enough for what the forum can do.
