I have a Gigabyte R9 290 at stock clock 947 mhz, I am trying to get the same version. But it looks like I can only get the 1000+ mhz OC Gigabyte version.

Do I have to under clock/over clock one of the GPUs for it to work efficiently or will it automatically work both GPUs at the lowest one?

I am going to get in touch with the supplier as they only ran out of stock Friday (literally watched it go) to see if they have reordered more or can back order it, if I have to.

It will run each GPU at it's own speed, however in actual gaming performance will be pretty much considering the lowest GPU speed, since it's gotta even out both cards. You won't notice that much of a difference in gaming, considering you'll have two cards

Yeah I am just trying to make a more stable game experience with things like Watch Dogs and Assassins Creed as they drop to like 40fps.

I also stream, record and I am a proud owner of 3DS Max and Unreal 4 so I do have light render use. I am aiming for 1080p / 60fps / streaming. I get 5820k for xmas :) as 2290s on a 8320 is definitely going to cause some bottlenecking with me running OBS / FRAPS and many other back ground apps across 2 montiors.

What I love about the idea of 2 x R9 290s, I will have a 4k ready system. But right now I am only a 1080p player. And because I have never played 1080p games on a bigger than 24 inch monitor I still have a lot to experience lol

But thanks for letting me know guys :)
