do you have a cable that you can swap out for there old one

iv swapped everything i can, cables, amps, thier is one attached from the back that can't be removed. though. their is also a tweeter speaker on the back.

is it possible to filter for the low/high freq is busted?

It sounds like either you have a bad connection maybe try replacing the cable you are currently using, or a second more likely scenario is that the driver has been on a full volume setting for an extended period of time which could and normally with cheaper or even some of the more premium speakers could result in pernament driver damage so my suggestion would be to borrow and test the speakers on a lower volume with a different cable or maybe a different input device or if the driver is damaged I'm afraid you will simply have to invest in a new one, although some RMA and warrenty cases will cover issues like this so it might be worth investigating that option as well.
