all fans spinning

Yep it's probably(probably(doesn't mean I'm totally right tho)) the BIOS. Find a haswell chip and use it 1st to boot up then download the latest BIOS. :) I don't know if your MOBO can update the BIOS through USB so finding a haswell chip(maybe borrow from a friend) then update it when it boots up is one way to fix it :D

so i have to update bios??? what if i can't????

That... I don't know. There's some retailers that might provide BIOS update service. Buy an ASUS/ASRock H97 maybe? If you buy a new mobo it can also give benefits to you like overclocking(for some ASUS H97 mobos). If you just bought it recently, try to ask for a refund.... hopefully.

Try switching ram stick positions or with one at a time . Try re-positioning the gpu or use the onboard one if you have one , also check if all cable are in place and if pci cards (if you have ) are placed correctly .

Also , you can't update the bios since you can't see anything . Do you use multiple graphics cards ?
