I snagged a pair of Sennheiser G4me Zero's and I was wondering what would be a great USB desktop amp/dac to pair with them.

Thanks in advance! :)

Bought an overpriced sennheiser headset :/. What would your budget be and why do you feel the need to purchase an Amp/DAC?

because it's 100 ohms?...

And? Ohms don't mean everything and depending on his mobo, the on-board amp/dac may be good enough. If he's satisfied with the level of volume that's being outputted and sound quality, there's not need to purchase an amp/dac unless you REALLY want to get the best out of your headphones (which depends on the headphone)

EDIT: Just an fyi, the HE-6's are 50 ohms, and they are difficult to drive.

Yo man that attitude is a bit harsh. Also some motherboards can't run the g4me zeros. Yes it's not incredibly hard to run but some of the weaker motherboards won't be able to run it. I've heard of instances where an amp actually benefited the zeros.

Sorry, Didn't mean to come with a bad attitude. All I asked was why the OP felt the need to purchase an Amp/DAC, BECAUSE if it was already loud enough and sounded good to his/her ears, it won't be necessary to purchase an Amp/DAC. the Op has not updated us on any information, such as budget, what his current mobo is, his experience with the headset, etc. Also, I would assume if he purchased a pair of $250-300 headphones, he would have a decent PC, but I can't assume everything.

EDIT: sometimes the way I write may come off as "harsh" but most of the time It's not my intention, sorry.

Yeah I assumed you didn't mean to come off as a jerk but gotta be careful with that word choice man. I do that once in a while too but gotta be careful how you say things on the internet because it can be taken the wrong way pretty easily.
