Building Log: First Gaming PC Build (Code Red)

Nvoltis
Hello everyone! Finally, I've started building my first ever gaming PC for personal uses. I've built them before, but not with the "newer" parts. I've built with parts from 2001 - 2010, so it's about time I got to try out something fresh on the market. I've built 1 PC before on my own, and several by helping a friend. I've decided to nick name it "Code Red" As it fits the scheme. I will be updating throughout - if you're wondering what my specs are they are down below. In total, it cost me around $1300.

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($256.98 @ Newegg Canada)

Motherboard: MSI Z97-GAMING 5 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($173.98 @ Newegg Canada)

Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 770 2GB TWIN FROZR Video Card  ($349.99 @ NCIX)

Case: NZXT H440 (Black/Red) ATX Mid Tower Case  ($119.99 @ NCIX)

Total: $1116.89

Update 1: Got my parts, ready to build!

Update 2: Started building, now I just need to add the Graphics card, Hard drive, Video card, Power Supply and plug in the cables!

Update 3: Added every part! Now it's time to plug in all the cables & tidy them up! EDIT: Will be done on 9/13/2014

Looks really nice. How ironic I was going to call my build code red also. :D

Haha I had code red in mind for a name also since my main rig project is also a red and black theme. Guess it's a popular name.
