What Do I Need To Upgrade In My PC ?

xTrip

Hey guys,

I got my PC in 2011 and it was doing me a good job. However now I want to upgade it. the biggest problem for me is money.

Here are the parts of my curetn PC:

CPU - Intel Core i3 2105 3.1 GHz

MB - Gigabyte PH67-DS3-B3 LGA 1155

RAM - A-DATA 1333 2x4GB

HDD - 750GB SEAGATE

GPU - PALIT GTS 450 1GB

PSU - Cooler Master Silent Pro M 600W 80 Plus Bronze

Case - Cooler Master Elite 330

My question is if I upgrade some of the parts:

RAM - Kingston Hyper X BEAST 1600 2x4GB

HDD - WD Blue 1TB 7200

GPU - Asus NVIDIA GTX 660 OC

Case - Game Daemon 6002

And add a SSD: Kingston HyperX 128 GB

Am I going to be able to play Battlefield 4 at at least High settings at 50-60 FPS ?

New gpu, SSD(although it won't affect gaming performance), then maybe cpu.

Your ram is the best thing in here. I wouldn't upgrade that.

i think the answer with 660 OC is nope... wait for 860 or get a 760 OC when new gen graphics card released (probably a 760 will fall at 180€ then)

Build from scratch and no, a 660 OC would NOT run BF4 on high at 60FPS. Also, for fuck's sake PLEASE do not buy that case seeing as it probably came from an off-brand.

it would easily without AA.  I know from experience.  It'd get anwhere from ~55 to ~75

edit: probably not with that cpu, but you get the point.

My 660ti struggled with BF4 on Medium and barely survived the terrors of BF4 on High.

My buddy was just at my house the other day, he has an fx6300 and a 660ti and he had his settings at high without any AA or post AA and was getting average 60.

Leave Everything.
Only upgrade ur gpu.
its the only thing that's going to make a difference.
Get a Gtx 760 or a R9 280 or a r9 285
All cost around the same.
U will be able to play battlefield 4 on ultra(AA of) at 60 fps.
