Mini-ITX Board with 2 USB 2.0 Headers!?

Go to solution Solved by VSG,

NZXT 1U01? I have one for similar reasons.

Hello everyone, so I'm planning a build in the corsair 380t, and I want to use the Nzxt Kraken x41 as my CPU cooler but I just realized that the MITX board I had chosen only has 1 internal USB 2.0 header on it, and that would mean that my 2 front USB 2.0 ports wold be dead, So I want to know if you guys know of any MITX boards with more than 1 internal USB 2.0 header, all the one's I've checked so far, don't.

Here's my build list if it helps at all:

CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($279.99 @ Micro Center)
CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken X41 106.1 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler  ($108.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: Asus Z97I-PLUS Mini ITX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($156.98 @ SuperBiiz)

Case Fan: BitFenix Spectre Pro LED 148.7 CFM 200mm  Fan  ($20.99 @ Newegg)
Case Fan: Arctic Cooling Arctic F12 74.0 CFM 120mm  Fan  ($3.56 @ NCIX US)

^ What he said, other than the motherboard choice. Each header can support 2 ports each so you are good to go. Also, why not just paint the stock 140mm fan?

One minor thing is that PCS cooler is thick- so I can't guarantee it will fit in completely.

I can't recommend the z97N-wifi at this stage, the BIOS is extremely frustrating and needs a lot of work. I am trying my best to work around it but there is still a 50% chance that Windows will hang during boot even if you OC a 100 MHz more on something like the Pentium G3258.

I know they support more than one port, but I need 2 headers.

The NZXT Kraken uses one on-board USB 2.0 Header to control it through the included software, so I could either use my front USBs or be able to use the NZXT software to control the Kraken, but not both. So I need 2 individual headers, one for my front 2x USB Ports and one for the Kraken.

Thank you! I was going to go with the Gigabyte GA-Z97N-WIFI "hmminteresting" suggested, but with this I can use my previously selected board, thanks!
