Why do you want another one now? Your probably better off waiting for an Nvidia announcement and then maybe SLIing your 780 or buying a new card

If you buy a new 900 series card when they come out, I'll gladly dispose of the 780 for you in a safe and environmentally friendly manner......

I'm going to be selling my 780 so I can buy the 880/980 and play games at a glorious 1360*768 resolution.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

yea... pretty much like everyone has said, wait until 900 series releases. you'll see prices go down. maybe you could get another gtx 780 to save for series 1k or 1100. or then you could sell that gtx 780 and get a newer series 900s. but wait before you make a purchase now :)

What resolution are you playing at? If you're at 1080p 60hz you won't really notice much of a gain moving to a higher end solution.
