Need Budget Gaming Build for ~$800

Hyydrah

So my friend purchased this computer:

http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:dD_9Pe0MwMgJ:www.bestbuy.com/site/hp-pavilion-slimline-400-314-desktop-20-led-monitor-package/9999232700050000.p%3Fid%3Dpcmprd231400050000%26skuId%3D9999232700050000%26st%3Dcategoryid%24abcat0501000%26lp%3D4%26cp%3D1+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=ca

(cached page since the live page isn't up anymore)

and it only runs Battlefield 3 at about 15-20 FPS. She's going to try to return it if we can figure out a better build for the money, which is where you guys come in. Her budget is about $500-600 with taxes and shipping, and she wants it to run at about 50+FPS average on Battlefield 3, and she'll need a computer, monitor, mouse, keyboard, operating system, and wireless adapter.

Requirements:

- $800 budget with taxes+shipping

- Computer needs to run Battlefield 3 at ~50+FPS at a resolution affordable at that budget (she needs a monitor as well)

- Needs computer, monitor, mouse, keyboard, operating system and wireless adapter

Please let me know if you need any more information, and thanks for the help.

Edit: From the videos I've seen of similar models, her current computer seems like it will be so tight that it won't be worth upgrading. Hopefully I'm wrong about that though

Edit 2: Expanded budget, needs OS as well

I'm surprised that computer could even launch BF3. brb making build

EDIT - That is a VERY tight budget, I went over budget even before getting to the monitor...

With that tight of a budget that includes a monitor and all that fancy stuff you would need to use an AMD APU and it probably wouldn't even get the performance you want.

Here's a really basic build that doesn't even include a wireless card or an OS but would probably run BF3 as desired.

http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Mentoast/saved/xPytt6     (OC the CPU)

You could probably get all the other stuff for another $250. You would end up with a decent gaming computer for under $1000 with taxes and shipping included.

Yeah, she's going to try to expand her budget some more. Forgot to mention that she needs an OS too, goddamnit. lol
