How to upload video?

I've had this mp3 player called the "Iriver Lplayer" for like 6 years now, and I know absolutely nothing about how to use it. Mainly I would just upload some music with Windows Media Player but recently I wanted to try uploading some videos to it but I can't get it to work. When I try and play the video on the device it says file not supported. It says that it supports MPEG4 SP, WMV9 SP, and XVID SP video formats. Can anyone help me out a bit with understanding what I need to do to make it play videos? (sorry I'm such a noob)

 

The screen on the device has a resolution of 320 x 240

you need to convert your videos to one of those supported file types.
