the plus is the one to get IMO

Its just too damn big...Even the regular 6 is bit too big.

My 5s with a case (130mm x 65mm) is perfect.

It's not a significant upgrade for me, since I own a 5s. Will wait for next iPhone.

Why not just get something like the Note 4 though if you're in the market for a large smartphone? Note 4 is a tad bigger, with higher resolution (mind you I think 1080p is all you need) and better multitasking. All I can see this doing is alienating the people who liked the existing size, without gaining anyone who likes bigger phones because they're already better catered for on Android.

I don't want a phone from samsung full to the brim with their bloatware and touchwiz, although with cyanogen it could be nice..

I will most likely buy the new Moto X or the new Nexus phone.

they made the phones a lot bigger than they had to be, there's a ton of extra space on the top and bottom of the screen... and it's not even being used for better speakers or anything..

I don't think they look that good, the 5s looked the best in my opinion

I also noticed that the 6 plus is going to be $300 on contract for the 16gb model, while the normal 6 with 16gb is only $200... Why?   The only differences I could find was bigger screen, better resolution, and optical image stabilization.  I don't think it should be $100 more than the smaller 6

They both have optical stabilization. The 6+ has a higher resolution larger screen and a better battery.

Sad to say, I may upgrade my 5s to the small 6. The 6+ is too big, like most other flagship phones....Plus having iMessage on my phone is just nice an convenient with a mac.

Yaaaa....Thats why I switched from Android to the 5s because everything else was too big (although, I will say the 5s screen is a bit smaller than I'd like)--something in between the 5s and small 6 would be perfect.

oh, must've misread the thing about optical image stabilization then...

And it's good that it has a better battery too, but I still think that there isn't really enough of a difference for the $100 but idk

My LG G3 will be retired the moment I can get my hands on a 6+

I wish they put the screen of the 6+ in the 6, then put a 1440p screen in the 6+. Otherwise, they're too damn expensive for me to get, I'd rather get the One M8 for windows phone or the new Moto X as they are probably within my price range.

Granted, although with cyanogen you lose a lot of the multitasking stuff dependent upon the S-pen. Personally I'd rather tolerate bloatware and conserve functionality than be lacking things I do want as well as things I don't. Ideally ofc Samsung would just give it a rest and just either stick with the Google apps or provide 'Tizen' as a viable alternative. This stupid duopoly is as annoying as the UK simultaneously using metric and imperial measurements alongside eachother. Pick one!

I can't believe the 6 isn't a 1080p screen.  I know people say you can't notice, but I will notice aliasing.  They shoulda gone full 1080p on the thing.
