Hey guys. X99 are out with a lot of stuffs in the bag. Im just wondering if I should update. I have Asus Z97-A with i5 4690K, 16GB ram. Should I upgrade to X99? And btw I don't have GPU since it got busted out. Any thoughts?

If it is just for gaming, then no. If you stream, edit, game and have the money, then yes. WORTH.

You must "Quote" to get my attention.

For heavy editing, maybe--if you need the extra cores--only AFTER you've picked up a strong GPU.

For gaming, hell no.

ummmm. Probably no due to the ridiculous expensiveness of x99 gear, currently made of unobtanium.

I mean if you really REALLY want to you can, but for gaming you won't see an improvement.

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Dubs are better than subs

Do you do anything which would benefit from upgrading to X99? If not, then may as well stay with what you got.

Shot through the heart and you're to blame, 30fps and i'll pirate your game - Bon Jovi

Take me down to the console city where the games are blurry and the frames are thirty - Guns N' Roses
